Living with and Beyond Cancer Forum
- The Living With and Beyond Cancer Forum has its roots in Chapter 5 of the Cancer Reform Strategy, which emphasises the need to provide continuing care and support for anyone living with and beyond a cancer diagnosis and its treatment
- It was launched in July 2009

Genetics Forum
- The aim of the UKONS Genetics Forum is to "enable cancer nurses to influence clinical care, practice and the future direction of cancer genetics services at a national level"
- It was launched on 16th October 2009, at the annual UKONS Conference
- Further national meeting dates are to be agreed

Chemotherapy Nurses Forum
- The aim of the UKONS Chemotherapy Nurses Forum is “to enable chemotherapy nurses to influence clinical care, practice and the future direction of services at a national level”
- It was founded in 2007
- It comprises nine regional groups, each of which has a Chair and at least one Vice-Chair who feed work into the national agenda
- Regular meetings throughout the year bring the regional workstreams together
- Educational meetings on relevant topics are held frequently throughout the year at venues throughout the UK

Radiotherapy Forum

The aim of the UKONS Radiotherapy Forum is to:
- Raise awareness of the important role that radiotherapy nurses can play in supporting patients and families through radiotherapy/chemoradiotherapy.
- Discuss issues related to developing and championing the role of radiotherapy nursing and to taking it forward on the cancer agenda through UKONS.
- Participate in exploring and benchmarking current ‘radiotherapy nursing services’ as a framework for shaping and developing future supportive care resources and services.
- Identify and share best practice for the assessment and management of radiotherapy induced side effects through supportive care frameworks and guidelines./li>
- Collaborate with allied healthcare professionals and influential organisations to inform policies, practice and education.
- Explore and debate the potential for nurses to take a leading role in clinical research that addresses best supportive care and treatment of radiotherapy side effects.
