The BJN Oncology Nurse of the Year Award

Many people's lives are touched by cancer, and whether they practice in hospitals or the community, nurses will find themselves caring at some stage for adults with cancer. This Award will recognize an individual or team who have made a demonstrable improvement to the delivery of cancer patient care. The BJN Awards celebrate and reward excellence in clinical nursing. The awards are not just a glitzy affair and an excuse for a party – they are also a time to recognize the immense talent, professionalism and innovation among the nursing workforce. At a time when staff and expenditure cutbacks are inevitably affecting morale, the BJN Awards 2012 are a celebration of achievement, a reminder of the reasons you nurse, and an infusion of encouragement to inspire continued enthusiasm for the nursing profession. The Awards Ceremony Finalists will be invited to attend a glittering black tie ceremony at the Landmark Hotel, London on 30 March, 2012. Prizes will be awarded in 12 categories and an evening of leading guest speakers, dinner and dancing will follow. The Oncology award is so generously made possible from the proud sponsor Sanofi Oncology. www.sanofi.co.uk To enter yourself or a colleague please visit http://www.bjnawards.co.uk Entries close 27th Jan 2012.
