We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our high-performing team as Specialist Practice Educator for SACT.
The successful applicant will have extensive experience of delivering SACT and inspiring a passion in others to learn and develop their practice. Effective teamwork and excellent communication skills are essential. This role will afford the successful candidate the opportunity to develop their career across education and clinical practice in a unique setting at The Christie School of Oncology. Formal teaching experience is preferred but is not essential.
The successful candidate will make an important contribution to cancer care at The Christie by developing and delivering a range of education and training programmes, primarily in the field of SACT. They will form part of a committed team developing high quality health care practice on a local, national and international basis. The role will be to ensure that Christie staff maintain the highest levels of clinical practice and to support our clinical experts as teachers. This will include the delivery of short courses (including university accredited programmes), study days and virtual learning opportunities.
