EONS Project Administrator

Project Administrator will support the Task Group and the strategic priorities of EONS and the Education Working Group (EWG) in the development of initiatives such as, but not limited to, the College and the EONS Cancer Nursing Fund.

This post will support the development of two EONS initiatives: The College of Cancer Nursing and the EONS Cancer Nursing Fund.

ECCN Task Group member

The Task Group will be responsible for the development and delivery of an EONS College of Cancer Nursing (ECCN) aligned to the EONS Education Framework (2018) and the ESO pathways. The College will focus on the professional development for all nurses who are providing care to people of all ages affected by cancer across Europe.

 

We are specifically seeking representation from different European countries, in the south, east, west and north of Europe. The working language is English and therefore we expect/need proficiency in the English language. Specialist cancer nurses with a minimum of five years consistent experience in oncology or haematology or, cancer nursing education are particularly encouraged to apply. There will also be one place for one Young Cancer Nurse (under 35 years old) with a passion for cancer nursing education and career development. The Task Group will include four members of the Education Working Group, the EONS President or President-Elect, three EONS other working Group members (AWG, RWG and CWG) and one Young Cancer Nurse. Task Group meetings will take place on a regular basis with a maximum two per month.

 

The work will be on a voluntary basis with no honorarium for this work.
