This competency framework, published in August 2019, enables registered nurses to map their competence and identifies areas for clinical and professional development.
When applied in clinical practice the framework enables the provision of breast cancer care in both general and specialist settings by assuring that nurses have breast cancer specific knowledge and skills in the management of people affected by breast cancer.
