e-learning programme - Personalised care for people with cancer

7 July 2021

Macmillan have developed a new programme in partnership with Health Education England e-Learning for Healthcare to enhance knowledge and understanding of prehabilitation and rehabilitation in people with cancer.

Around 70% of people with cancer have other long-term conditions to manage which can impact on their care and support needs, so a personalised approach is vital.

The Prehabilitation, Rehabilitation and Personalised Care (PRosPer) e-learning programme aims to support allied health professionals and the wider healthcare workforce in developing their skills on providing personalised care. The first module provides colleagues with an introduction to the topic, and further modules about cancer prehabilitation, rehabilitation and service redesign and workforce development will be available later this year.
