Young and Early Career Cancer Nurses

The primary aim of the UKONS Young and Early Career Cancer Nurses MIG is to support and develop young and early career cancer nurses working in the UK. Particularly those under the age of 35 or within their first 5 years of working in cancer. Following a call for nominations, UKONS are thrilled to announce that we have appointed three co-chairs, Debora Franchini and Sophie Maycock, to represent the views of young cancer nurses or those who are early in their oncology careers.

UKONS Facebook page for Young and Early Career Cancer Nurses MIG working in oncology

Are you a nurse currently working in cancer or providing care to people affected by cancer? Are you either under the age of 35 or within the first 5 years of working in cancer care? If you answered ‘yes’ to both questions, or know anyone who would, please read on…

The UKONS Young and Early Career Cancer Nurses MIG  Facebook page is a forum designed to create a network for young cancer nurses and early career nurses working in cancer care throughout the UK. The purpose of the group is to allow cancer nurses to discuss topics related to their work or study. It is a place where you can come to connect with other young and early career oncology nurses for support, discussion and learning and is welcoming to all.
